I create. I travel.
I ❤️ the Caribbean.
When I decided I loved travel, that was it. I did midnight safaris surrounded by lions in Botswana, a three-week trek through the high Atlas Mountains of Morocco before getting lost in the Sahara, snowboarding in the Czech Republic, culinary explorations across Japan, business deals in South Korea, and mountain climbing in the Peruvian Andes. I explored South Africa, Hawaii, Germany, and even rang in the new year in Guangzhou, China.
But I was bahn and raised in the Caribbean. I am West Indian. And although every island is different, each with its own unique foods, music, topography, animals, customs, and people these islands, every single one of the over 7000 in the chain, feel like my home.
To better understand them and share the real Caribbean experience with intrepid travelers looking for more from their travel dollar, I co-founded Uncommon Caribbean with my brother Steve in 2010. Together, we’ve traveled to dozens of islands… Dozens of times.
A tiny fraction of the photos captured along the way are shared here.
